Are you passionate about science and science communication? Do you want to be part of the vibrant science community in Berlin? If so, we invite you to join our Berlin Science Week team as a volunteer!

Berlin Science Week is an annual celebration of scientific excellence, knowledge, and discovery. Every year, from 1–10 NOVEMBER, Berlin transforms into a hub for innovative exchange, bringing together over 500 speakers, more than 150 organizations, and an audience of over 20,000 during the ten festival days. The event combines in-person formats throughout Berlin with online and hybrid events, focusing on interactive and interdisciplinary discussions.

The festival takes place all over Berlin, in a decentralised fashion, as well as in our two festival centres – the CAMPUS and the FORUM. The CAMPUS is our established central location at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, a place dedicated to exchange, discussions, and networking. The Art & Science FORUM, on the other hand, a collaboration with Holzmarkt 25, is being organised for the first time. It is dedicated to exploring the exchange between scientific research and artistic creativity, offering a diverse range of formats from art installations, science slams, artist talks, to comedy shows, workshops, live performances, and more.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the implementation of the upcoming Berlin Science Week between 1-10 NOVEMBER 2023 – at the CAMPUS, in the FORUM, and overall in Berlin. If you are a science enthusiast, have experience with science communication or event organisation, and are proficient in English or German, we want you!
