Christine Hennig

Christine Hennig works as senior scientist at Fraunhofer FOKUS. She holds a diploma in math and has many years of experience in scientific software development for research data and knowledge management. She is coordinator of NFDI4DataScience (NFDI4DS), a consortium of the National Research Data Infrastructure Germany (NFDI). Her interests are availability, long term archival and preservation of data and information for good. Moreover, she actively engages for more women in computer science. Therefore, she is involved in the German Informatics Society GI, runs the meetup IT Frauen Berlin and is member of the executive committee of kompetenzz – Germany’s major network on the topics of technology, diversity and equal opportunities.
