The Einstein Telescope - Interactive exhibition stand

Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands

The Einstein Telescope will be a mind-blowing underground gravitational wave detector. Unravel the secrets of the universe and learn about black holes, dark matter and the very early universe!

The Einstein Telescope EMR will be a mind-blowing 3rd generation underground gravitational wave detector. It will reveal the universe's secrets about black holes, neutron stars, dark matter and the very very early stages of our universe. The telescope will take us back in time as never before and it will completely change our perception of what the universe entails.

At the interactive stand, you will be amazed by the scientific, societal, innovative and economic benefits of this groundbreaking telescope, that we would like to build in the cross border region of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands (EMR-Region) in only a couple of years. Using our VR experience, step into the facility and see what the telescope will look like once it is built! At our stand, take the chance to ask us any questions you may have about this mind-blowing project or admire the scale model of the telescope.
