Visitor Information
Berlin Science Week is the city’s annual science and culture festival.
Every year from 1—10 November, we transform the city into a playground of scientific ideas. As one of Europe’s leading science festivals, Berlin Science Week brings the public and the scientific community together, placing cutting-edge research at the heart of cultural life. With a diverse programme of over 300 events —organised in our two central Festival Hubs CAMPUS and FORUM and at venues citywide — the festival offers a lively platform to explore how science shapes our world. The next Berlin Science Week will take place from 1–10 November 2026
A FESTIVAL FOR THE CURIOUS
Berlin Science Week is open to anyone driven by curiosity, inquiry, and a desire to better understand the world around us. Whether you're interested in how science intersects with politics and culture, drawn to the latest scientific breakthroughs, concerned about the future, or simply keen to learn something new, you’re in the right place.
Our programme spans hands-on workshops, conversations, performances, and playful experiments. Most events are designed for adults, but there’s a programme for families too.

HOW WE COME TOGETHER
At Berlin Science Week, we believe science belongs to all of us. This festival is a space for open-minded exploration, where science shows up in unexpected places and diverse perspectives are celebrated. Under this year’s theme, Beyond Now, we invite respectful, constructive conversations that bring us closer. We value the exchange of ideas across all fields as we push the boundaries of knowledge together.
To keep this space welcoming and inclusive, we ask everyone to be open and thoughtful in their interactions. Hate speech and propaganda are not permitted and have no place here.
Our newsletter is delivered on a monthly basis throughout the year, with special editions in the lead up to Berlin Science Week. You can unsubscribe at any time. The Falling Walls Foundation gGmbH privacy policy applies.
