Insights into German Research

A “Research in Germany” Information Session for Falling Walls Lab Participants

The initiative “Research in Germany”, together with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Research Foundation (DFG), is organising an event for all Lab winners of the Falling Walls Labs and other guests, to be held on Monday, November 6.

The event is structured into three major programme points:

1) The day begins with an information session on the German research and innovation landscape, on how to fund a scientific start-up and how to connect with researchers in Germany. There will be plenty of room for networking and questions.

The presentations will be held by representatives of the following German research and funding organisations:

Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

German Research Foundation (DFG)

Helmholtz Association

Potsdam Science Park

Projektträger Jülich – Start-up transfer and innovation funding

Research in Germany

University of Applied Sciences Potsdam

University of Potsdam

2) During the following visits to institutes of the Potsdam Science Park in Golm participants will gain further insights into German cutting-edge research and have the opportunity to further build their research network.

3) The event will conclude with a city tour by bus.
