Yidi Lola Wang is an interdisciplinary researcher, technologist, and founder working at the intersection of spatial systems, AI, digital governance, and humanitarian infrastructure. She is the founder of ÉTÈ Institute, developing new safety architectures for Physical AI, including an independent spatial safety layer designed to make autonomous physical actions verifiable and ultimately hardware-enforceable.
Her work spans technology, architecture, resilience, and governance, with contributions and presentations involving the UN Ocean Decade, IRCAM at Centre Pompidou, CPDP Brussels, and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) in Munich. She has also led and curated interdisciplinary research programmes at Berlin Science Week.
Her current focus is on developing the technical foundations and validation ecosystems needed for new safety approaches and standards for Physical AI.
