Fertile Futures: THE ART+SCIENCE SALON Live

The Art + Science Salon | Autumn Brown, Amelia McConville

A Pop-up podcast on Cultivating Creativity at the Crossroads

Bringing together an international community of researchers, artists, scientists, activists, and technologists, this community salon will be a chance for attendees to join the conversation on the futures of art-science. During this live podcast recording, our hosts Dr Amelia McConville and Autumn Brown will guide a wide-ranging conversation with a panel of luminaries from Berlin Science Week to affirm, interrogate, and imagine the future and legacies of art-science collaborations.

The themes of this discussion will be centred around the fertile futures we create when we traverse disciplinary boundaries and find ways to find and make co-conspirators beyond our traditional practice boundaries. This will be a heady environment for cross-pollination of ideas and will draw heavily on the workshops, talks, and performances held throughout Berlin Science Week. The event will include an interactive Q&A session with the audience and dedicated time for all attendees to connect and reflect on the nature of collaboration in their own settings.

This is the place to reflect, connect, and share ideas inspired by the week. We can’t wait to see you there.
