Oliver Benson

Prof. Oliver Benson is an expert on experimental nano-quantum optics and leads a research group at the physics department of Humboldt-University Berlin. After receiving his diploma and doctoral degree in Munich he was postdoc at the Max-Planck-Institute for Quantum Optics, Garching, and at Stanford University, USA. He returned to Germany as an independent Junior Research within the Emmy-Noether Program of DFG before he accepted an offer by Humboldt-University. His research concerns fundamental aspects of quantum photonics and applications in quantum technology.
