Let’s Program Loona, Your Social Robot Companion!

Brains, Minds and Bots Lab – Technische Universität Berlin

A Fun Robot Programming Workshop and Virtual Reality Demonstration

Join our exciting Robot Programming Workshop designed especially for kids! In this hands-on learning experience, children ages 7-13 will dive into the fascinating world of social interactions between humans and robots. Guided by researchers in the field, kids will explore the basics of programming social robots, unlocking their creativity and problem-solving skills.

Through interactive activities and engaging challenges, kids will learn how to give commands to the social robot Loona, make it move, and even complete fun tasks. We’ll use user-friendly, age-appropriate programming languages and tools to make learning easy and enjoyable.

All activities are conducted in a supervised, controlled environment. This workshop is perfect for kids eager to discover the magic of robotics and gain essential STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills. We will also have a demonstration of robots in a virtual reality setting for anyone interested. Don’t miss this opportunity to inspire the next generation of tech-savvy innovators!

PUBLIC WORKSHOP ON SITE AT THE TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITÄT. PLEASE REGISTER.

This is an in-person event. If you would like to attend, you can register in advance at the exhibition booth in the Berlin Science Week CAMPUS.

The workshop will also be repeated in the same location on 11 NOVEMBER, 10 AM.
