FORUM
Where art, science, and society intertwine.
On the second festival weekend, 7–9 November, Berlin Science Week takes over Holzmarkt 25 – the city’s cultural playground – and transforms it into a creative hub for transdisciplinary exchange. Home to our Art & Science Programme, FORUM invites you to experience how science can help us navigate a world shaped by uncertainty. It's a gathering place where disciplines meet for collective visioning.
Across three days, each guided by a central question, pioneering researchers, artists, and performers come together to ask: how do we shape what comes next? Dive into a programme rich in discussions, workshops, performances, and pop-up booths designed for inquiry and imagination. Whatever the format, FORUM is a space to share curiosity and wonder, explore the intersections of art and science, and imagine futures together.
This year, as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, FORUM debuts the first exhibition curated by Berlin Science Week. Showcasing groundbreaking projects that blend art and science, it challenges us to look beyond the urgency of the present and turn our attention toward futures still unfolding.

POP-UP BOOTHS
Open daily 12:00 - 19:00.
Spread across Holzmarkt 25’s outdoor spaces, these pop-up booths are small open-air galleries where universities, research institutes, and artists invite you to experiment and play in English and German. From hands-on experiments and future technologies to art and interactive installations, each booth offers a chance to discover science in unexpected ways as you explore FORUM.
