Musical transformations: Collective Music Making to Transform our Imagination

sustain.fm

Can we hear sounds of the future? Can we hear the voices of plants, water, the air, and heartbeats? Join our interactive workshop to play, learn, and immerse yourself in this sensory experience.

Despite our efforts, envisioning and catalyzing change towards a sustainable future remains a challenge. Could sound and music be an answer? Can we break down the barriers between human and non-human? Can we hear the sounds of the future? Can we hear the voices of plants, water, air, and animals? Join our interactive workshop to make sounds and music with plants, our bodies, and our environments to answer these questions - and ask new ones! Play with a table full of potatoes and plants wired for sound, electromagnetic radiation detectors, touch and light sensors, heartbeat monitors, an electric terrarium, CO2 and air quality data, and easy to play instruments. You'll experiment with the unseen connections between humans, nature, and the environment, proving we’re all part of the same symphony. Jump in anytime to play, learn, and immerse yourself in this sensory experience. Curious minds of all ages are welcome—come spark your imagination!
