Armaghan Naghipour

Armaghan Naghipour is a lawyer specialised in migration and anti-discrimination law, and was most recently Permanent Secretary for Science, Research and Gender Equality for the State of Berlin. Prior to that, she held various advisory positions in politics, including helping to draft Berlin’s state anti-discrimination law. As the daughter of refugees from Iran she has always been interested in issues around justice, or the lack of it, and in operating from different angles, be it legally, politically, journalistically or creatively through music.
