In touch with the Cosmos - Stargazing

Driven by pure curiosity and a sense of wonder, our team of astronomy enthusiasts transform the outdoor grounds of HKW into an open-air astronomical observatory. Piercing through city light pollution, our fleet of high-powered telescopes brings the universe into sharp focus. Look through the eyepiece to experience the dramatic, shadow-cast craters of the Moon, the swirling atmospheric storms of Jupiter, and the magnificent rings of Saturn with your own eyes. Venturing further into deep space, we’ll guide you toward glowing nebulae and the remnants of ancient supernovae. It is a direct, voyage of discovery inviting you to connect with the mysteries of the night sky. 

Democratising the universe by bringing the stars to the public. Everyone is welcomed despite their education background, age, sexual orientation, class, abilities etc. Just simply bring your curiosity and let us ignite that  explorative childhood mind.

Dem Kosmos ganz nah – Sternbeobachtung

Durch die Lichtverschmutzung der Stadt hindurch könnt ihr mit unseren Teleskopen die Krater des Mondes, die Stürme des Jupiter und die Ringe des Saturn mit eigenen Augen entdecken.

Aus Neugier und Begeisterung verwandeln wir das Außengelände des HKW in ein astronomisches Freiluftobservatorium. Gemeinsam erkunden wir den Nachthimmel – von unseren Nachbarplaneten bis zu leuchtenden Nebeln und den Überresten alter Supernovae.

Astronomie für alle: Vorkenntnisse sind nicht nötig. Bringt einfach eure Neugier mit und entdeckt die faszinierende Welt des Kosmos!
