Prompts for Science – Strengthening Scientific Literacy in AI

AI models often contain stereotypes that undermine scientific perspectives and standards. Careful prompts can compensate for these weaknesses, but they cannot change the AI's database itself. Science communication therefore needs strategies to feed AI with diverse, fact-based content – both textual and visual.

In this workshop, we want to actively tackle the issue together: through targeted prompting and curated content, we will strengthen the scientific literacy of language models. The goal is to promote diverse scientific representation and actively work against existing biases.
