Embrace the Future: a Fictitious Image Campaign on Renunciation

illuseum.org

Explore the intersection of art, science, technology, and activism in this Augmented Reality exhibition with the artist Michaela Konrad at Illuseum Berlin.

"Embrace the Future" advocates for a systemic shift toward a managed reduction in consumption and a circular economy. The artist creates posters that call for renunciation, utilizing techniques familiar from commercial advertising to convey this message. Through this project, the artist urges a reconsideration of our economic and consumption models to effectively address climate change.

The event will feature an exhibition opening combined with an artist talk, creating an immersive and interactive experience. Visitors will explore Michaela Konrad’s poster series enhanced with augmented reality, accessible via smartphones, adding a layer of storytelling through sound and animation.

Download the free Artivive app to access the augmented reality experience on site.
