I am a Mexican physician with a PhD in Natural Sciences, specializing in immunology applied to rheumatological diseases. I have experience in preclinical research using murine models, employing techniques including microsurgery, histology, flow cytometry, and transcriptomic analysis. I have also participated in clinical research projects focused on knee and hip osteoarthritis.

I am passionate about science communication and have contributed to various science outreach initiatives in Mexico, Spain, and Germany, including popular science magazines, scientific blogs, and science communication channels on YouTube and Instagram.
