Dr. María Avendaño Rito

A graduate of the Technological Institute of Oaxaca, Dr. María Avendaño Rito completed her Master’s and PhD at the National Polytechnic Institute, specializing in the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Natural Resources program. She is currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the Technological Institute of Valle de Etla under the Indigenous Women with Doctorates program. She is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNII).
