Cristina Brischetto, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Cancer Biology with over nine years of research experience across diverse therapeutic fields. She developed a strong interest in genetics and the molecular mechanisms regulating cell functions early in her scientific journey, driven by the goal of understanding the origins of disease.

She earned her Ph.D. at the Max Delbrück Center in Berlin, where she investigated pathways underlying chronic inflammation. Currently, she is translating her expertise into clinical applications by developing complex cellular pre-clinical models for the treatment of gastric cancer. As an Open Science Ambassador for the Berlin University Alliance, Cristina is deeply committed to making science more accessible, transparent, and engaging for both the research community and the wider public.
