Event Area
Welcome to our dedicated page for participating organisations! We are thrilled that you are a part of this year's festival.
Below you can find information on the timeline leading up to the festival, the steps to prepare for the publication of your event, and our communication strategy. If you have any other questions, please reach out to us directly at production@berlinscienceweek.com.
Are you organising an Independent Event, or an event in one of our Festival Hubs?
You can create and manage your event page directly on our website. We’ll email your log-in information mid August. Use this information to log-in to our platform and create your individual event entries by 12 September.
These event entries will be directly displayed to our audiences after we publish the programme. They should include details such as content, time, date, location, livestream link, accessibility, and ticketing.
Please complete and submit your event information by 12 September. We will review it and prepare for the programme launch on 26 September. After the launch, you can still add speakers and make minor changes, except for the title, date, location, and registration info. Please inform us of any important changes to ensure we can support you.
Are you organising an Exhibition Stand in the CAMPUS, or a Tiny Gallery in the FORUM?
Please provide the information about your Exhibition Stand/Tiny Gallery via the form below. These event descriptions will be directly displayed on the website and should include information about the format and content of your exhibition. The deadline is 12 September. We will review and prepare the texts for the programme launch on 26 September.
If you have any questions, contact us at production@berlinscienceweek.com.
IMPORTANT: Mark this address as secure to receive all the relevant updates!
We'll be launching this year's campaign in mid-September, featuring a fresh new look and a revamped website. The campaign will roll out after the programme launch on 26 September.
Promote Your Event Before the Festival
Being part of the festival means proudly showcasing your involvement in all your communications. Please remember to always use the Berlin Science Week logo and mention your participation.
To assist you, we are preparing a communication pack with templates and guidelines. They will be ready for download in September to assist with your activities:
- Have a look at our Promotion & Branding Guide
- Download and integrate our logo into your visuals, such as website, poster, or social media posts
- Download our visuals and use them on your social media channels, newsletters and website
- Integrate our text prompts into your communication
- Tag us in your posts for likes, shares, and comments
Interested in increased exposure? We welcome your ideas! Submit your ideas early for better incorporation into our promotions. Our editorial schedule will be finalised at the beginning of September.
Brand Your Event During the Festival
In the weeks leading up to the festival, we will provide you with printed materials, including posters, stickers, magazines, and for select organisations, the Berlin Science Week Cube. We ask that you use these materials to ensure the visibility of the festival at your event. Brand your location and share photos of your event as it happens!
