This seminar explores the role of specialized educational centers in Eastern and Southern Africa in fostering scientific innovation and addressing region-specific challenges. Participants will delve into how these Centers of Excellence contribute to research, training, and knowledge dissemination, ultimately driving socio-economic development and sustainable solutions tailored to the unique needs of the African continent.

The seminar will highlight success stories, collaborative initiatives, between Germany and Africa in this regard, and the potential for further growth in the field of African science.
