Decision Theater: Ideathon
On 6 November, Arizona State University (ASU), in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology, invites you to take part in the Decision Theater™ Ideathon at Berlin Science Week.
For one day, around 50 selected participants will gain exclusive access to the Decision Theater – a pioneering tool where data comes alive through immersive visualisations and simulations. In interdisciplinary teams, researchers, creatives, technologists, policymakers, and cultural practitioners will experiment with how this tool can be further developed and applied to pressing local or global challenges.
Participants will have the chance to:
- Work hands-on with cutting-edge immersive technology
- Co-create prototypes and concepts for future applications of the Decision Theater
- Receive tailored feedback from mentors and experts across science, design, politics, and the arts
- Connect with an international network of professionals committed to reimagining decision-making
The Call has been closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted such inspiring applications!
If you missed the call but would still like to get a glimpse of what’s been developed, join us on 7 November at the FORUM. The results will be shared in a gallery walk, featuring concepts and ideas open for discussion. Enjoy snacks and drinks as you meet the participants, exchange thoughts, and connect.
