Simón Guendelman is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and researcher in clinical psychology of social interactions at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain, Humboldt University. His research focuses on self-awareness, emotion regulation, empathy, and social cognition, particularly in autistic populations. He applies behavioral, psychophysiological, and neuroimaging methods and teaches at both pre- and postgraduate levels in Germany and Chile. Simón also collaborates on interdisciplinary projects blending art and science, particularly those related to mindfulness and compassion in mental health.
