Merilin Martinson

Merilin Martinson is an Estonian-born economist and PhD student at the Berlin School of Economics and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, working on labour, migration, and crime economics. She trained at UCL and Humboldt, where she was her school's top economics graduate, and has worked at the European Central Bank. Her research has earned more than a dozen grants and prizes across Germany, the UK, and Estonia. She has worked on questions ranging from hate crime to monetary policy to the long-run effects of labour migration.
