Julien Thebing

He started his BSc in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Osnabrück, focusing on Salmonella enterica virulence and ultrastructural analysis. He completed his MSc in Microbiology at FU Berlin. During this time, he worked at Son Espases Hospital (Palma, Spain) on multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa and at The Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin studying antibiotic-biocide interactions. He is now a PhD student in the Schreiber group (BAM) in collaboration with FSU Jena, investigating efflux-driven antimicrobial resistance evolution in biofilms.
