How Can Blockchain Technology Change Science?

Molecule

What if research were funded, shared, and rewarded in completely new ways? Explore how blockchain could transform the way science works & imagine what comes next.

Science today faces challenges; funding bottlenecks, siloed data, and limited collaboration. Decentralized science (DeSci) offers new tools to make research more open, transparent, and community-driven.

In this 1-hour session, domain experts Ella, Nour, and Cansu will first introduce the basic principles of DeSci, showing how blockchain can unlock new models for funding, publishing, and incentivizing discovery.

We’ll then switch to a workshop format, where participants explore practical ways these ideas can be applied.

We're looking forward to seeing you!

Note: Our reserved seats have now all been taken – thank you for the great interest! But not to worry: we always keep a number of seats available for spontaneous guests. So even without a reservation, you’re very welcome to come along.
