FORUM DAY 1 | ENGAGEMENT
Who owns knowledge, and how can we learn from one another?
Friday, 7 November opens FORUM with an exploration of what it means to know. Science communicators, researchers, artists, and the public come together to ask: who creates knowledge, who benefits from it, and what happens when we share it across cultures and disciplines?
Through collaborative workshops and conversations across fields, Day 1 at FORUM explores how an open, diverse, and creative knowledge system can nourish the foundations of a democratic society. We invite you to reflect and exchange perspectives — whether it be about decentralised science, the experiences of women in research, or the future of publishing.
EVENTS
Talks, workshops, and discussions shape the day. In all its variety, the first day at FORUM explores both transdisciplinary collaboration and the multiple approaches to sharing scientific knowledge.
