Is the Personal Generative? An Open Discussion
This public event invites artists, designers, researchers and creatives to a dynamic exchange on the intersection of creative work with personal and lived experience. Following a "fishbowl" format, in which attendees and panelists respond to each other's statements, participants will step beyond disciplinary boundaries and engage in questions surrounding subjectivity in generative work.
How does artistic intuition inform scientific inquiry? And how can scientific frameworks inspire new forms of artistic expression? By fostering dialogue between creative and analytical approaches, the open discussion emphasizes experimentation, curiosity, and the exchange of methods across fields, and is aimed at anyone interested in spaces where ideas cross-pollinate, evolve, and generate innovative perspectives.
Panelists include artist Ana Prvački, designer Johanna Seelemann, Forecast artistic director Freo Majer, Forecast editor and independent art critic Hili Perlson, as well as Berlin-based creative thinkers who have successfully answered our open call.
