This hands-on workshop invites you to rethink the place of living matter in everyday objects, to understand the role fungi plays in biological cycles, and to question how constructive practices can be regenerative. Through mycology, materials science and design, discover how mycelium colonises a substrate to grow into a solid, biodegradable composite, shaped by a mould you've built yourself.

Alongside a multidisciplinary team (architecture, microbiology and artistic practice) you'll be guided through every step: building a mould, inoculating a substrate, and creating the right conditions for your object to grow.

Everyone leaves with their own creation: a mould inoculated with mycelium, ready to unmould in a month!
