Black Bodies in Science and Art from the first contact with Europe to the Present

Black In Tech Berlin

Africans and Diasporic Africans have been present in art and science prior, during and after first contact with Europeans. Come and learn about how this journey started and where we are today.

African and African diasporic individuals have been subjects in arts and science in the West; but they have also been researchers. For this session, we have invited esteemed speakers coming from the fields of Antrophological Science and History, Art and Culture, and Technology and Artificial intelligence. They will present snippets of their work on a professional and personal level in a safe and respectful environment. Later on the session will be moderated and the floor will be opened to the audience for further questions.
