Yalinu Poya

Dr. Yalinu Poya is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Originally from Papua New Guinea, her work focuses on green chemistry, anthropogenic pollutants, and sustainable solutions for environmental challenges. She teaches a range of science courses and is dedicated to helping students succeed, involving them in projects connecting classroom learning to real-world applications. Passionate about science communication, she strives to make science accessible to everyone and contribute to a more sustainable and healthier world through science and education.
