Valeria Solari

Valeria Solari is a Berlin-based artist developing her own biomaterials from algae and microorganisms as the foundation for works in installation, sculpture, painting, and moving image. Through experimental techniques, she cultivates and transforms these organisms, exploring the intimate relationship between the human hand and nonhuman life. She investigates growth, transformation, and decay as a common condition across living beings, materials, and ecosystems, proposing more-than-human ways of understanding.
