Theda U. P. Bartolomaeus

Theda U. P. Bartolomaeus is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oslo, working at the Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis (CEES). She completed her PhD in Berlin, where she studied how hosts and their microbiomes interact. In her current work, she focuses on the foundation of ecosystems, the microbial communities that sustain them. By analyzing ancient DNA datasets, she explores how past climate events shaped these communities, with the goal of understanding and predicting future ecological change.
