Dr. Sara Hetzel completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in bioinformatics at the Freie Universität Berlin. After graduating, she continued her academic career at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, where she successfully finalized her doctoral thesis. Her research focused on the characteristics of DNA methylation in cancer patients and the development of software that enables such analyses.
