Ranran Li is a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law. Trained in personality psychology, she studies how personality traits and situational factors jointly shape human behavior. Her research spans both socially constructive behaviors (e.g., prosociality) and behaviors harmful to oneself or others (e.g., dishonesty and delinquency). While psychology remains her “Forever Moonlight,” Ranran works across disciplines, bridging psychology with criminology, behavioral economics, and sociocultural perspectives.
