Meet Puki Harana, Belgium’s number one Filipina drag queen: a living celebration of identity, history, and resistance. As part of the Filipino diaspora, she uses drag to reconnect with her roots, channeling the ancestral power of the babaylan: queer, genderfluid spiritual leaders of pre-colonial Philippines. A true triple threat, Puki trained for ten years as an opera singer before evolving into a professional dancer and choreographer. She performed in both the Flemish and French productions of Kinky Boots and choreographed the Brussels version, creating work for much of the Belgian drag scene, including both seasons of Drag Race Belgique Live.
