Phila Rembold is a researcher at the Atominsitut in Vienna who explores the limits of quantum technologies. In her work, she finds new ways to control and benchmark quantum systems to judge their potential, bridging theory with experiment in collaborations around the world. Originally from Potsdam, she studied physics in Scotland before before completing a joint PhD between the University of Cologne and the University of Padua in Italy. Her special interest is entanglement, a resource that sets quantum systems apart from any other technology we use in everyday life.
