Paula Bueno

Dr. Paula Bueno is pharmacist and biochemist (University of São Paulo-USP) and PhD in Chemistry (São Paulo State University-UNESP). She has held internships and postdoctoral positions at the Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology (University of Münster, Germany), at the Institute of Biology of Leiden University (The Netherlands), and at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology (MPIMP, Germany). Currently she is a permanent scientist at the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (IGZ, Germany), working in the field of natural products chemistry, mass spectrometry-based metabolomics, and plant adaptive responses to environmental variation, with particular emphasis on the biosynthesis and ecological roles of secondary metabolites.
