Paul Baumann

Paul Baumann is a Landscape Gardener, Musician, and Founder of URBAN UTOPIA. With URBAN UTOPIA, he is building a transdisciplinary network for the future of plant economy. Using plants as an emotional medium,his mission is to connect projects, institutions, and stakeholders across disciplines and scales — from grassroots initiatives to politics, business, and practice. In July 2025, he initiated the first URBAN UTOPIA Conference at Holzmarkt 25, bringing together diverse actors to exchange ideas and co-create a shared vision for more connected cities. At its heart, URBAN UTOPIA is a transdisciplinary network platform for Plant Lovers, bridging innovative ideas & solutions and the people who bring them to life.
