Dr. Nessreen Abdelfatah Ali Abdoun is a research instrumentation scientist and renewable energy expert, possessing a robust background in the energy sector, blending governmental and private sector experience. She is proficient in nuclear techniques like High-purity Germanium (HPGe) detectors, Spectrophotometer, and X-Ray Diffraction. She earned a TWAS-UNESCO postdoctoral fellowship for research exploring sustainable and smart cities. Driven by high ambitions, she serves as an assistant professor at the Sudan University of Science and Technology. She was on the support team to form the program implementing unit for the World Bank projects of Sudan in energy sector. She excels in strategic planning, statistics, quality management, and project management, showcasing her commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. Nessreen Abdelfatah Ali Abdoun is a part of the Female Science Talents 2024 Intensive Track programme.
