Dr Marlene Bart, an artist and researcher, works at the Prater Galerie on the Prater Digital project, where her work explores the intersection of art, new technologies, and ecological as well as knowledge-based sustainability. Bart studied Fine Arts at the University of Arts in Braunschweig, Villa Arson in Nice, and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. She holds a Master's degree in Art in Context from the University of Arts in Berlin, with a focus on Art and Science, and a PhD from the Bauhaus University in Weimar. Bart collaborates artistically with scientific institutions, including the Natural History Museum Berlin and the Max Planck Society, and she regularly publishes in the fields of artistic research and visual studies.
