Margaux Arabian grew up in Paris, France. Since 2019, she has been chef of her own restaurant called VOLK, in central Berlin, which she runs with her husband. Margaux Arabian comes from a famous culinary family , her father and mother having been awarded several Michelin stars in the 90s.
The VOLK restaurant is Berlin's leading oyster bar, renowned for the quality of its French products, which Margaux usually sources directly from the source. She maintains very close relations with her suppliers, and aims to promote the importance of first choice of food products and to bring them back to Berlin for her customers.
Since 2023, she has been distributing her products to other Berlin chefs. Not only seafood products, but also fish caught by small boats, French beef, vegetables from market gardeners, etc.
