Leonie Kubigsteltig is an expert for Knowledge Exchange and Public Engagement at the Centre for Cultural Techniques, HU Berlin. She holds a Master degree in Movement Studies from Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. With a professional background in contemporary dance and directing for the stage, she worked for many years as a theatre practitioner, often collaborating with community groups and young people. Since graduating from the professional development program in theater management at Munich university (LMU), she has been focusing on advancing diversity, representation and participation in arts and culture. Most recently she worked as a program curator for Urania Berlin e.V., as project manager and co-curator for Stiftung Berliner Mauer (Berlin Wall Foundation) and as change manager for strategic diversity development at the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden.
