Katerina Krtilova

Dr. Katerina Krtilova received her PhD from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. She has conducted research at centers for media anthropology and aesthetics in Weimar and Zurich, and was Principal Investigator of the International Network for Media Philosophy (2017–2019). Most recently, she held visiting professorships in media theory, philosophy, and aesthetics at the HBK Braunschweig as well as at the universities of Bonn, Vienna, and Prague. Her research focuses on media philosophy, the aesthetics of digital media, and the intersections of media theory and religious practices.
