Jung Hsu

Jung Hsu (徐  容) (Berlin/Taipeh) is a Taiwanese researcher and new media artist based in Berlin. She combines interdisciplinary knowledge with artistic research to create heterogeneous encounters. In the process of her education and life, she always tries to respond to the current social situation with multiple perspectives and uses metaphorical objects to create speculative scenarios. Her recent work has focused on micro-biopolitics and social movements. 

Hsu received the Golden Nica/ Prix Ars Electronica 2022 and the Falling Walls Award in the Art & Science category 2023 for her work “Biofilm.net: resist like bacteria” (collaboration with Natalia Rivera).
