Johanna Teresa Wallenborn

Johanna Teresa Wallenborn is a researcher, lecturer and curator with a background in Futures Studies, Philosophy and Media Studies. Her work explores how emerging technologies shape culture and society and the role of art and design in engaging us with present and future challenges. Beyond her research, she leads workshops on futures and curates cultural programs that connect art, technology, and society to inspire ideas for equitable and sustainable futures. 

She is a research associate and lecturer at the AI Lab of the University of Art and Design Offenbach and teaches critical AI courses at the University of the Arts Berlin and the University of Applied Sciences Mainz. Previously, she was an associate researcher with the Public Interest AI group at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society Berlin.
