Dr. Jess Rohmann is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Public Health at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the QUEST Center for Responsible Research (BIH–Charité). In addition to applied research in neuroepidemiology and causal inference, her current work focuses on research quality, scientific peer review, and reforming research assessment. She co-founded the "Peerspectives" initiative, a peer-review training program for the biomedical sciences, and helped launch the PhD Program in Health Data Sciences at the Charité.

Dr. Rohmann gained experience working in university administration in her recent role as Strategic Scientific Advisor to the Scientific Director at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin. Previously, she was the Head of Epidemiology at the Center for Stroke Research Berlin and was a visiting scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Rohmann received her PhD from Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, with a focus on the clinical epidemiology of neurovascular disorders. She is also an experienced moderator and engaging speaker.
