Iliana Papadopoulou

Iliana Papadopoulou is an architect, artist and creative developer. She has an has an academic background in architectural design and computation, holding an MArch from Aristotle University and an MSc in Architectural Computation from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.

Her teaching and research roles at IAAC, CITA and The Bartlett, have served as platforms to rethink computational media through multidisciplinary experimentation. At Henning Larsen studio in Copenhagen, she contributed to R&D projects exploring emerging technologies to shape new spatial experiences, with a focus on local communities and diversity.

She is currently actively contributing to open-source software repositories alongside her artistic and theoretical projects. She experiments with game engines, web interfaces, 3D sculpting, and creative coding, weaving these tools into a polymathic approach that reshapes digital landscapes through custom software. Her work has been exhibited/published internationally, including at the Media Architecture Biennale in Amsterdam, Tbilisi Architecture Biennale, and the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen.
