Gregor has a background in Mathematics and IT. As a statistician, he enjoys to dismantle different types of noise in search for the underlying signal. This endeavor has lead him to Technische Universität Berlin, where he received his PhD, and the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Currently, he works as a postdoctoral researcher at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. His research focuses on estimation techniques for stochastic partial differential equations and their application to biophysics.
