Gerrit Rößler

Dr. Gerrit Rößler ist bei der Berliner Senatsverwaltung für Wissenschaft, Gesundheit und Pflege für Wissenschaftskommunikation und Internationalisierung verantwortlich. Zuvor förderte er als Leiter des Knowledge Exchange Office der Berlin University Alliance den inter- und transdisziplinären Austausch zwischen Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft. Er koordinierte für den DAAD New York das German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) und leitete mehrere Jahre das German Academic International Network (GAIN). Dort knüpfte er im Rahmen der wissenschaftsdiplomatischen Aktivitäten des Bundes internationale Netzwerke in den Bereichen Wissenschaft und Transfer. In seiner Freizeit spielt Gerrit Jazzpiano oder geht mit seinem Dackel Charlemagne spazieren. 

Dr. Gerrit Rößler is responsible for science communication and internationalization at the Berlin Senate Department for Science, Health and Long-Term Care. Previously, as head of the Knowledge Exchange Office of the Berlin University Alliance, he promoted inter- and transdisciplinary exchange between science and society. He coordinated the German Center for Research and Innovation New York (DWIH NY) for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and led the German Academic International Network (GAIN) for several years. There he built international networks in science and transfer as part of the federal German science diplomacy mission. In his spare time Gerrit can be found playing jazz piano or walking his dachshund Charlemagne.
