Garth Davis

Garth Davies is Head of Communications for Climate and Health at the Wellcome Trust. He has a senior role in the communications and engagement team at Wellcome which supports science to solve the urgent health challenges facing everyone - including through discovery research and three worldwide health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate and health. 

Prior to working at Wellcome, Garth has held senior communication roles in the UK government – including the Prime Minister’s Office, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the Cabinet Office and the Department of Health. He has also worked in the UK National Health Service and at the University of Exeter on major global science communication programmes.
